Classic Chevrolet Sugar Land is proud and “EXCITED” to announce our 7th annual Chili Cook-Off to be held on Saturday, April 8th between 4 and 8 pm. at our dealership.
This year we will be ”Honoring” and benefiting our entire community of Law Enforcement and Fire/EMS personnel.
Those being Honored are; The Police and Fire/EMS from Sugar Land, Stafford, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg and Meadows Place. Also benefiting will be The Sheriff and Constable Departments of Fort Bend County along with The 100 Club.
This is a great challenge for our entire community to come forth, support and celebrate these wonderful individuals that serve our neighborhoods each and every day.
Our “GOAL” is to raise as much money and goodwill as possible to enable all of us to truly make a difference in the lives of these First Responders. These “Heroes” are the men and women that keep our businesses and families safe and protected from the harm and dangers of these chaotic times we are living in.
We need friends, neighbors, businesses, sponsors and cook-off Teams to attend. We also could use many more items for our “Silent Auction”.
This community event is going to be a great, family friendly, fun filled and exciting day for all ages.
We are expecting 4000-5000 visitors to come and taste the chili’s, watch the “Tug of War” contests between the Police and Fire/EMS, walk amongst the Fire Engines, Ladder Trucks, Police Cruisers, Ambulances and even the Swat vehicles along with enjoying The Zumba Dancers, the Dunking Tank, the Jump Houses, the Auto Demolition Contest, the Games Truck and the assortment of Carnival Food Treats available.
You will see many of your friends, associates and even enjoy watching the Mayors of the aforementioned Cities try their hand at Judging the numerous pots of Chili.
