September 7 @ 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Sheriff Troy E. Nehls & the FBCSO Presents

Shining a Light on Mental Health: Addressing America’s Crisis

Why is this conference important?

Millions of Americans are affected by a variety of mental health conditions every year. According to Mental Health in America, 43 million Americans have a mental health condition, but more than 57% have not received treatment. Together with the community, the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is shining a light on mental health, beginning with this day-long conference in Richmond, Texas. Mental health professionals from across the region and country will discuss prevention and treatment in areas including drugs in schools, suicide, bullying, dementia, Alzheimer’s and more. We look forward to you joining us in our discussions on September 7th to address America’s crisis.
