Take aim at Missouri City's Archery Program! This session will meet Mondays, September 9-October 7. The fall session features a Beginner Archery class focusing on archery safety, equipment, shooting form, and shooting etiquette and an Explore Archery class that will focus on improving accuracy and consistency through a variety of activities and games. Participants must complete the beginner archery class through Missouri City Parks & Recreation in order to register for the Explore Archery class. This class is for ages 8-18 and all equipment will be provided. Personal equipment must be inspected before use. “Road to a Good Report Card” – Monday, Sept 9, 7:00-8:00 pm, Multipurpose Room. Abby Downing-Beaver will provide strategies that parents can use to help their children achieve success in school. Get tips on maintaining clear lines of communication, developing strong organizational- and time-management skills, and establishing a good relationship with the school. Downing-Beaver will also talk about schedules, routines, setting achievable expectations, and creating a home environment that emphasizes learning.Find out more »
