Great Cycle Challenge – Ride to Fight Cancer
Sienna Scoop is participating again for the 3rd year in the Great Cycle Challenge USA this June to benefit Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
Our team is called Sienna Scoop Cruisers; we will ride on a bicycle or a stationary bike to improve health and help fund childhood cancer research during the Great Cycle Challenge USA.
You can register for FREE for the month-long cycling fundraiser and join our team HERE
Plus, a free mobile application is available to download to track miles, raise funds and share your experience.
Great Cycle Challenge USA encourages riders to set their own cycling goals and raise funds by recruiting family and friends to pledge donations.
About the Great Cycle Challenge
Founded in 2015, Great Cycle Challenge USA has grown to become one of the biggest cycling events in the country. In just four years, over 153,000 riders from 50 states have ridden 12 million miles, raising more than $16 million for research and the development of better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. This year, CCRF hopes more than 50,000 riders will help it raise $8.2 million.
“Over 15,000 American children are diagnosed with cancer every year and, sadly, 38 children die every week,” said John Hallberg, Chief Executive Officer at Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
Great Cycle Challenge USA is a national Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF) fundraising initiative held throughout June.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world without cancer where all kids are living life, NOT fighting for it.
Sienna Scoop’s Goal:
We’re riding to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve, and we believe that any one individual can make their personal impact to fight cancer and save little lives…
So we’re calling on everyone in the United States to get on their bikes this June and join our movement to kick cancer’s butt!
We would love to have the community come together to form a big team and fundraise for the children battling cancer.
Plus, this challenge is great for the entire family!
So, will you take the challenge and ride this June?
Your Neighbor,
Founder of Sienna Scoop – a community blog. A wife, mom, and a business owner. I was born in Houston, Texas and moved to Sugar Land, Texas when I was 12 years old. We moved to Missouri City, Texas from Sugar Land, Texas in 2009, primarily to be closer to family and instantly loved our new neighborhood. We love living in this community, it’s like living in a small town. One of my favorite things to do is DIY and crafting projects, for me, this is how I relax from the day to day grind.
