The Fort Bend Junior Service League established the fun-filled, festive holiday shopping extravaganza known as Sugar Plum Market in 2000.
Since it’s inception, the Sugar Plum Market has been put on by an all volunteer workforce that has raised more than $2.2 million benefiting many local Fort Bend County Charities.
Every December, a check presentation event is held to distribute funds to charities who have applied and been vetted by a Beneficiary Review Committee to receive financial support. Previous grants have contributed to educational programs, food pantries, assistance for women and children, literacy programs, and many other charitable needs.
The 17th Annual Market will focus this year’s “Believe in the Magic” theme on the magic of the gift of giving to the agencies and programs in Fort Bend County.
Come shop and enjoy the 100+ gorgeous vendor booths and get in the holiday spirit while doing good for this amazing community.
