Summer Camps 2017

I can’t believe it is already July and School will start in about 6 weeks.

Keeping the kids busy during the summer can be a challenge!

If you are needing some ideas for the remainder of the summer, here is a list of some camps in the area.

KidVenture

Kidventure’s Camp Sienna and Camp Riverstone provide kids entering first grade through age 12 with ten individual weeks of day camp beginning June 5.

Based on our summer theme, ‘Summer Blockbuster’, campers will live out hight-energy adventures usually reserved for the ‘Big Screen’. With the help of a supporting cast of caring and capable counselors and directors, kids will create friendships and meaningful opportunities.

Each week is complete with sports, swimming, art science, field trips, and fun as big as you can dream it.

Sienna Gymnastics & Karate Summer Camp

The activities and FUN are endless between the 90-foot indoor zip-line, the giant moonwalk double slide, the trampoline & foam pit and the list goes on and on.

They also offer dodgeball, kickball, karate, gymnastics, obstacle courses, soccer, basketball and the popular – JEDI SWORD FIGHT AND NINJA HIDE N’SEEK.

At Sienna Gymnastics & Karate, you don’t have to sign-up for 2 weeks or even 1 week for that matter.

If you want to come for just one day, that’s fine.

Sienna Stables Horseback Ridging Summer Camp

Learn how to ride a horse and much more right in the neighborhood!

Camps are designed for first time riders to advanced riders ages 6 to 16.

Camp activities include learning basic riding skills in English, Western and Dressage; horse safety; horse management; breeds; colors and markings; horseback games and much more.

The camps conclude each Friday with a Final Day Horse Show Exhibition for parents and friends.  Camps are Monday through Friday 10am-3pm and cost $399 per week.

Sugar Land Art Center & Gallery Art Camp

Kids Art Camp programs run Monday through Thursday for ages 5-14 years old.

Half day or full day camps are available.

Each week brings a new theme to life with lessons focused on the Fine Arts using a variety of mediums such as Acrylics, Watercolor, Clay and Oil Pastels to create works in Sketch, Painting, Sculpture and Collage.

Camp size is limited to 12 students and all of our teachers hold degrees in the Arts!  A 16/20 canvas masterpiece, a 3D sculpture piece and other theme related projects will go home once completed.

The cost per camp is $154 plus a $16 supply fee.  The student art show is held at the end of the summer where “Best of Show” awards are given and celebration is held for all on August 19th
