What are your tips and tricks to make hosting Thanksgiving dinner easier?
here are some of the answers we received:

Kimberly C. says: “Marrying a chef!!!”
Tara J. says: “Thanksgiving cooking in our family is easier because everyone has their own “special dish” that they make. We have appetizers, including my deviled eggs and my mother-in-law brings seven-layer dip and a liverwurst dip. My husband fries the turkey and makes the dressing and green bean casserole, and my sister-in-law makes candied yams. It really helps to cut down on the craziness in the kitchen.”
Shannon B. says: “Make as much as you can ahead of time so you can enjoy being with family the day of Thanksgiving.”
Meryl V. says: “Let my sister do it all.”
Catherine S. says: “Lots of Wine”
Sylvia M. says: “Everyone brings a plate or dessert! Have family help clean up afterward.”
Monica H. says: “Have it catered.”
ML A. says: “Prepare ahead. I boil my green beans and will fry every onion single-handedly a day or two in advance. Get wine and beer ahead of the game. Chop up the green onions for mashed potatoes the night before and store in the fridge.

I have my mom make the turkey and gravy. She makes the best gravy, hands down!
